Almost 20 years ago, Ms. Sweeney and the DAC students worked hard to raise the money to purchase 16 wireless lavalier microphones as a long term investment to avoid the rental fees her predecessor had always incurred for each performance.

At this time, those microphones have begun to age out and the frequencies they are working on have been slowly purchased by various entities. We are in need of replacing the entire system. The school only maintains the sound board and the wired system, so the full cost of this is on the DAC.

We hope to have this campaign cover the costs of those replacements within three years, which was the timeline for the original purchase.
